Ambiguity in Action

Annual event in town this weekend, "The Denver Black Arts Festival". When I first heard about it a few years ago, I really didn't know whether it was an arts festival featuring artists of a particular ethnic group or whether it was dedicated to the occult. The source of the info was a public radio station, so that really didn't offer any clue. As I eventually found out, it is a festival of visual, musical and performance art for artists of a particular ethnicity. There was a music and dance performance at lunch today and they were quite good. Very relieved that it wasn't a festival of "black arts".
