Great HMS Post by Greg Popcak this morning on the whole genuflection controversy. My take is “when in Rome, do as the Romans”. I don’t find it appropriate to do anything too conspicuous. If others are genuflecting, then it isn’t too conspicuous. If only one person does it, though, it could be a problem.
When in Los Angeles, I noticed that many people simply sat when returning from communion. That bothered me. Of course kneeling into the neck of someone sitting in front of you isn’t very inconspicuous either.
Odd side note, Greg P uses a term of endearment for his wife that I use for mine, though I spell it “Pookie” rather than “Pooky”. Must be a "G thang."
