Another extremely sad story.

Perhaps the accuser has made up everything that hasn’t yet been admitted. If so, the resulting story isn’t completely plausible. If the introduction were one innocuous massage, what led Haggard to use a pseudonym or to seek to purchase illegal drugs that were later thrown away?

Perhaps the accuser is being completely truthful. If so, the attempt to use this information at this time to maximize impact on the election is contemptible.

The most pertinent criminal laws regarding the alleged conduct have fallen into abeyance, but there are certainly several violations of law on the record. I would hope for vigorous prosecution.

Ideally we’d see both Haggard and Jones deported to Iran or some such regime.
