Fun for all at Pompous Ponderings where Dave Pawlak shares a quiz he used with the students he taught in a 3 year confirmation program. The quiz is nicely done. It points up many items that should be covered in such a class.

Way back when I was a kid, I was part of the first cohort in my Lutheran congregation to get one year of confirmation instruction (four days per week) rather than two years. Confirmation then took place near the end of 8th grade. I really like the idea of a longer period of instruction. It takes time for important truths to sink in. Also the idea of multiple instructors is good as it exploits the differences in learning styles that are part of human nature.
