In honor of St. Francis’ day.

Today I saw frost for the first time since spring. Seems to me that St. Francis just might say something like this:

Praise be to Thee, O Lord, for Sister Frost.
She cools and moistens the parched earth.
She reminds us of our frailty and mortality.

It was also recycle day. The house with the most frost was the one with the recycle bin full of Evian bottles. The house next to it, with scores of empties of “frost brewed Coors Light”, though, had no frost. Go figure.
