This week’s most disturbing experience was finding out that a priest whom I have respected is a heretic. There’s no other plausible explanation for some things he said in the Sunday homily. What makes it all the worse is that he’s quite a pastor. He has absolutely amazing people skills and what gives every appearance of real love for people. I’m somewhat at a loss as to what to do, but I know that inaction isn’t an option. More to come.
