I have a dear friend who’s really been like a brother to me since 1974. It’s a difficult autumn for him. Today they had to put their dog to sleep (the dog had been his wife’s even before they met and they’ve been married for over nine years). Worse yet, his grandmother is expected to die by Sunday and his mother is not doing well either. Add to that all the imagery of death that surrounds one in October and it’s not surprising that he’s rather down. Any prayers you can give for B would be appreciated.
