Thanks for your prayers and kind words this past week in the wake of my father's passing.

Yet another odd note. The service was on Saturday December 21. His pastor had a brief autobiography of Dad's (which I hadn't seen, although I'd seen one very like it) dated December 21, 1992. I was glad that we heard it.

It was good that my Dad's last surviving sibling made it. Gladder yet that a cousin I hadn't seen in many years made it, along with his 22 year old son that I'd not yet met.

In keeping with the Advent motif, good stuff is coming to Vita Brevis! (Of course I don't know the day or the hour.)
