The Passiontide blogging slowdown

appears to have commenced for much of St. Blog's.

As we turn our attentions from things temporal to things eternal, it behooves us to pray for Terri Schiavo, that she may be spared the cruel and unusual death plotted for her; for the men and women of our government, that they may be moved to protect the vulnerable members of our society; for the Church, that she may give boldly the witness incumbent upon her; for those who have known and loved Terri, that they may be comforted in this dark hour; for those who have come to know Terri only by this struggle to prevent her starvation, that they may be strengthened in their resolve and actions; for those who seek Terri's death, that they may undergo real and lasting conversion; for those who know little about Terri, that they may quickly learn and be stirred up to action; and that the Most High would have mercy on Terri and on all people involved in her case.
