Apropos the new year
Thanks to a better one than me, I have a special patron for the year 2006: St. Isidore of Seville.
A great quote attributed to this patron: “Prayer purifies us, reading instructs us. Both are good when both are possible. Otherwise, prayer is better than reading.”
