This is horrific. “Encouraging” more doctors to perform abortions generally means requiring all doctors to do so – regardless of whether the physician just might have enough of a conscience to be averse to the idea. Oh yeah – same goes for hospitals. Hence the necessity of the Abortion Non-Discrimination Act -- vehemently opposed by the media and most of Congress -- which would recognize conscientious objection to providing abortions. The Clinton party (they really can’t be called Democrats anymore, but that’s for another time) wants to require all physicians and hospitals to jump into the abortion pool.

If ever the free exercise clause were to mean anything, it must mean something here.
